Unfortunately fell for the Instagram ad and got a product that did not meet my expectations of the quality I hoped for with MetalPlex. You can see by the images that the quality of the print resolution is low, the final processing of the cuts is sloppy as there is plastic remnants leftover on the edges and the cutouts show an amount of white edging that is distracting on all the parts that the picture has dark ink used. I had also expected the entire sign to be metal since the name of the company is MetalPlex, but unfortunately the front and back seems to be a thin layer of aluminum attached to a thin piece of black plastic.

The wall art is attractive enough. However, the packaging for shipment is inadequate. My first order arrived damaged, the replacement item was similarly packaged poorly but only slightly damaged. I was frustrated by the hassle of ordering and waiting for an another replacement, which I did not do. The wall art is fragile but still sharp enough to cut thru the bubble wrap and card board, Just be aware!

My parents have this without the LED light and we loved it so much we ordered it too! We wanted to have LED lights so we ordered it with them.
Package was shipped very nicely and quickly. Great packaging! Unfortunately, the product didn’t come with many instructions to hang it. We figured out we needed to use the J-tracks to hang it. With the LED light, the j track only had one place to be put and it kind of shows when it’s hanging. Could be better here. We wish the LED light strip was moved a little to allow more room to fit the J track.
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND the LED lights with the mountain art. There is a large box that has to be hung/hidden and truly ruins the sleek look of the art. There isn’t a large enough area of metal to hide the box. After talking with customer service, they said that the box has to be hung on the wall next the product. This was not shown or explained on the website prior to purchase!! We unfortunately will not be using the LED function that we paid extra money for. Customer service was unhelpful and stated that they haven’t dealt with the issue before and didn’t know how to help me. If I was buying this again, I would NOT do the LED lights. The art itself is beautiful and we love it, we just had issues with the lights. Please see photos attached.

Ordering and shipping process was clear and easy to follow. Packaging was adequate to protect the artwork. A few too many follow up emails. However, the communication was much better then other online retailers. The wall attachments are two-way tape. They will support the item just fine. Would like a 3M style "no mork" attachments. I am dreading moving the art and the damage the "stickers" will do to the wall.

First piece arrived without a problem but the second piece( 60 ‘ x 16’) arrived bent and broken. As soon as Metalplex received our photos they sent us a free replacement piece without any hastle. Also they reimbursed the customs/duty charges. Great client service and the pieces are quite nice!

I love the look of the product, but the packaging and handling was not very good at all. When we got it two of the corners were damaged because the product was not packaged well. I had to bend the two corners back into shape. In an advertisement you see a person removing a piece of metal art from between two cardboard pieces - that would actually work and should be how they package. Put it between cardboard pieces and tape it well so it can't come out. Then bubble wrap and put in a box. Our metal piece was wrapped in bubble wrap only and put in a box (not tightly - it could move around in shipping). Obviously the pointy metal edges were going to break through the bubble wrap and get damaged.
The other handling issue is that they did not remove the burrs from the edges of the metal cutting. This is a just silly. Spend a few minutes and remove all the burrs/sharp edges from the piece before sending it to the customer. I had to spend about 20 minutes in my workshop doing this myself. I have pics of all the aluminum I removed, but I'm not sure if this review will let me upload them. This is either a serious lack of quality control, or just laziness. I certainly would never send a product like that out to a customer. But both of these things are so easy to fix - I hope MetalPlex actually takes the time to do so because the final products are really cool looking.
One more thing, I think people have mentioned using magnets to hang these items. Can't do that - they are thin aluminum sheets with some sort of plastic/fiberboard in the middle. Magnet's won't work on Aluminum.

I'm happy with the overall look, but what I'm surprised with is the thinness of the aluminum around the composite core. It's so thin that any minuscule pressure can cause a dis-figuration of the surface of the art piece. I wish it was a little thicker to protect it a little more, but it looks nice on the wall.

We LOVE our new mountain art piece. It is a quality piece - lightweight, easy to hang and the dark gray matches our furniture perfectly. It took about a month to get to us, but that was during the crazy-slow shipping that we all experienced in March 2020. Well worth the wait! It was packaged well, but still got slightly bent at one end during the shipment. We contacted customer service and she was very helpful - made some suggestions how to fix it and it looks perfect now. Would definitely recommend!!

It came packaged well. It shipped in a fairly timely manner during COVID. It is not the version of metal that I assumed it would be. It appears to be similar to metal...maybe foam sandwiched by thin slices of metal....? The foam is not visible, but maybe the metal would have been too heavy. It came with a plate with my name on it in the same weird metal foam sandwich. I will probably use it as a nameplate at work. It came with pins to hold the items up on the wall. The pins hide themselves well. It looks like metal when you look at it up on the wall.
